Supporting weight management services during the COVID-19 pandemic: Phase I insights

EASO is pleased to share this important new rapid response study showIng how weight management services in England have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic. It explores which measures are required to facilitate needed changes in these services and in addition, provides a set of guiding principles for service users, service providers and commissioners.

Produced in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University, Leeds University and University College London, the Obesity and Healthy Weight team at PHE read the report on supporting weight management services during the COVID-19 pandemic (phase I).

Phase II of this research will focus on what is needed to support delivery of services moving into the recovery phase and we look forward to updating you further on this as this work develops.
