Prof Davor Štimac, MD PhD is graduated at School of Medicine, University of Rijeka, Croatia. He is a Head of Internal Clinic at University Hospital Centre Rijeka and full professor at School of Medicine, University of Rijeka, Croatia and Vice president of Croatian Academy of Medical Siences. He is a former President of Croatian Society of Gastroenterology, actual President of Croatian Pancreatic Club, President of Croatian Society of Obesity and Vice president of Croatian Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition. Currently he is General manager at University Hospital Centre Rijeka.
He is member of UEG General Assembly, member of European Board of Gastroenterology and member of WGO Guidelines and Train the Trainers Committee. His main scientific interests are focused on new endoscopic techniques, Evidence Based Medicine and pancreatic diseases. He published more than 400 abstracts and articles in peer reviewed journals.
