Our launch webinar features EASO KOL Professor Liesbeth van Rossum, discussing “how to make an impact as a researcher or clinician in the field of obesity”. There will be time for questions and interaction following the presentation.

Liesbeth van Rossum, MD PhD, is internist-endocrinologist and professor in the field of obesity and biological stress research at the Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands. She is co-founder of the Obesity Center CGG, and co-author of the international bestselling and award winning book FAT, the secret organ, the surprising science behind the most misunderstood part of the body

  • Currently registered in an undergraduate or post-graduate course of study related to obesity or have received a masters, PhD or other relevant postgraduate degree within the past five years, or an MD within the past eight years, and/or:
  • Currently hold (or are applying to hold) an entry level position — e.g., junior doctor, post-doctoral fellow, lecturer, instructor, assistant professor, public health manager or public policy coordinator at an established academic/research institution, NGO or public health institution /authority
