Members across the EASO COMs network are warmly invited to join our upcoming webinar "Menopause & Obesity: Strategies for Care and Management", scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The webinar will take place from 11:30am-12:30pm UK / 12:30-1:30 pm Paris. This EASO COMs webinar explores hormonal shifts that occur during menopause and their consequences for clinical obesity management. Two expert speakers will explore how menopausal symptoms interact with obesity, highlighting the significant role of psychological and emotional factors for patients.
Participants will gain insights into practical, holistic management strategies which address both physical and mental aspects of obesity management during menopause, aimed at enhancing clinical practice and improving patient care. Members of the EASO COMs network will be taken through a real-world case study on managing obesity during menopause, providing valuable insights for HCPs to integrate this knowledge into their multidisciplinary care plans.
Dr Andreea Ciudin, Co-Chair of the EASO Obesity Management Working Group, will host this webinar. Attendees are encouraged to pose questions to the expert speaker panel for further discussion.
